Note: In the Ain-i-Akbari, Abul Fazl, while documenting Akbar's mints from the end of Ilahi 39 to Ilahi 42 during the compilation of Ain, mentions a mint referred to as the Mu'askar-i-Iqbal. Translated, this phrase signifies the camping ground of good fortune. Notably, the name "Mu-askar-i-Iqbal" does not appear on any coin. Within this category of mints, the Royal Camp mint of the Mughal emperors, known as "Urdu," is identified under three variant names: "Urdu (Camp)," "Urdu Zafar Qarin (Army camp associated with victory)," and "Urdu dar rah-i-Dakhan (Camp on the road to Deccan)."

Liddle notes that the earliest recorded coin of Urdu Zafar Qarin can be traced back to AH 984, a period marked by Akbar's expansive empire and significant victories in regions like Rajputana, Bengal, Orissa, etc. Coinage continued to be minted until AH 989. Furthermore, coins were issued with the additional notations of "Alf (AH 1000)" and "Alf-wa-Ahd (AH 1001)."

Finding coins with these mint names in excellent quality has become a challenging task in recent times.
